Rabbit!, the indie pop quartet responsible for Connect the Dots, one of my favorite albums of 2010 has released The Hopscotch EP today, March 15 and I was lucky enough to get my hands on it about a month early. They have once again brought to the plate a plethora of joy inducing tunes that will get your foot tapping and put a smile on your face.
So as you may have noticed in the title, it says "Haiku Review," and it mean exactly what you think. I am going to review this EP in a short set of haikus. However, I am not going to take the credit for this genius idea. Today I read a great review of The Strokes new album Angles written completely in haikus on Death and Taxes, a great blog. So I'd like to thank them for allowing me to borrow this incredible idea. Also, please excuse my incapability to write haikus, I am no Matsuo Basho.
So here it goes, I am about to attempt to review Rabbit!'s new EP in the form of five haikus. 85 syllables. No more, no less.
The Hopscotch EP by Rabbit!
Greater is Better:
Too catchy, indeed
Off of The Hopscotch EP
This is my favorite
Decision Decision:
Synths, synths, everywhere
You cannot help but smile
At this up beat song
New Day Sunshine:
I heard triangle
A very cute song, this is
Title says it all
Light Up The Night:
The strange sounds are back
Love Ashton's voice, as always
Dj's in Pj's
Possibility:
Hear the meowsic
And realize everything's a
Possibility
Well, there you go. I hope you enjoyed my haiku review, and I hope to do another in the near(ish) future. It was fun, though I felt like a freak counting syllables on my hand. You can buy The Hopscotch EP right here, and I highly recommend that you do. I've listened to the whole thing through over ten times, and it's not even close to getting old. In fact, it gets better each time!

Greatful!Just apply to my interest! Thanks you for sharing with all of us!
